Privacy Policy

Here is all the legal information and stuff that I have to include on here! *Yawn* It is pretty boring, but I encourage you to read it anyway so that you are informed of exactly how this website works, the data it collects and any commission I may make. There is a picture of my cats at the end, to make it a bit more interesting. Thank you!

Privacy and Disclosure Policy

This website is a personal blog written and/or edited by myself, Beth, of The Study Gene. If you have any questions, please contact me via my contact page.

I sometimes work with PR agencies and individual companies. I may be asked to review, or be sent products for review purposes, however I will only accept these opportunities if I feel they are suitable for my audience and purpose of this blog. I am completely honest about my opinion of a product or service and would only recommend that which i would genuinely use myself.

This blog accepts forms of paid advertising, sponsorship, affiliate advertising, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. All reviews are honest and of my own opinion. The payment or compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. Any compensation received for a review will not influence the content of the post, or any other area of my blog or related social media links.

All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

I will state within the review whether I have bought a product or service myself, been given a product for review by the company in question or whether I have come across something myself that I would like to share with you.

This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.

This policy is valid from the 04th March 2020.

This site uses cookies, and I also will use affiliate links; this means if you purchase an item after clicking through from a link I’ve included in a post, I will get a very small commission from it. However, this does not cost you anything at all as a reader.
